As we head into the holiday season, we know crafters are working hard to get through their list of handmade gifts. We want to send a special thank you to those finishers who are fitting in the extra work of finishing for someone else, and we are sending love to everyone missing loved ones this holiday season.

Loose Ends Project has grown in 14 short months from zero volunteers to more than 18,000; from two projects, to close to 2,000, and from two states to every US state and 64 countries. We would not have been able to do this without the support of the wonderful people you’ll meet below.

Our tech team has built a new platform for folks to sign up, and a more efficient way for us to match volunteers to projects. They have moved us off of spreadsheets and into the 21st century. New finishers have been signing up using this new tech since mid-September!

Two special volunteers have been hustling to keep us organized, and keep the bots out of our social media.

And introducing….
OUR NEW LOGO!

You know how sometimes a person needs to get to know their dog, cat, or baby, before properly naming them? When we first made the Loose Ends logo, it was before we knew where this idea might grow. The original logo showed two balls of yarn and quickly became obsolete, as we added more and more crafts to the list. Our new design depicts a lifeline (a protective string traveling through stitches) but also evokes the idea of connection, among the three people involved in each project: the original crafter, the project owner, and the finisher.
